THE PLACEMENT PROCESS 2023-24:

The outline of the Campus Placement Program for the convenience of the prospective employers, is given below.

1. Campus Placement at KIMDS opens from 5th Trimester.

2. Companies interested for the Campus process are requested to inform the Placement Coordinator in advance the date on which they wish to visit KIMDS for the campus placement.

3. After receiving the proposal from interested companies regarding the profile of the position, the placement cell shall forward the same to students. Online Test, group discussions, interviews and other methods of selection adopted by the organization are conducted on virtual/physical mode. If required, students may be called for final interviews at the headquarters at the company’s expenses. The placement process can also be conducted through virtual platform mode as per the convenience of the organization.

4. The candidates placed in one organization are not allowed to participate in the placement activity for any other organization, if the remuneration of the 2nd organization is more than double the 1st one. If any student gets enlisted in more than one organization then the organization coming up with the final list first, has the opportunity to take that student in their organization.

5. On confirming final selection, the appointment letter issued by the organization is sent to the candidate through the Placement Cell of KIMDS.

PRE-PLACEMENT TALK (PPT):

i. Companies are expected to deliver a Pre-Placement Presentation to the students communicating all relevant information about the job. If such a presentation is not possible due to any reason, then it is requested to send all relevant details (Job Description, specifications, eligibility criteria, CTC, Designation, etc) in advance to the Placement Coordinator through mail. PPTs can also be held by the company prior to the commencement of the Campus Placement Program at the Institute

DATE OF JOINING:

The students of the batch 2021-23 will be ready to join their respective organizations from 16th May 2023 after the completion of the PGDM programme. The Summer Interns for the Batch 2022-24 will be ready to undertake SIPs of 6-8 weeks duration between 2nd of May 2023 and 30th of June 2023 depending upon the requirements of the project.

VIDEO CONFERENCING FACILITY:

Video- Conferencing facility can be arranged by the Institute which can be used for presentations or for selection process. In case if any Organization interested to recruit from the Institute but not been able to come down to the campus due to certain reasons, the students may visit to the nearest locations of the organization’s office or other institute’s campus (pool campus) for the Campus process. The organizations interested in recruiting through the above mode should send back the response form, in specified format. They should also attach the relevant information about the job along with the form. The Placement Cell would coordinate with such Organization to facilitate the Campus Process. .
